What would it mean to get focused on the things that bring you the most joy? How would it feel to know the work you were doing on a daily basis was making a difference while being emotionally and financially rewarding? This week’s podcast is an interview about stepping into that place professionally. Teresa McCloy has done lots of rewarding work in her life, but she’s found God calling her to a different place, a different kind of work for this season of her life.
Join us for a wide-ranging conversation with Teresa McCloy, solopreneur effectiveness coach. Teresa started out as a serial entrepreneur. She then moved into full-time ministry for over 15 years. In the last few years she’s returned to her entrepreneurial roots, joining her husband on the family grain farm. (As a farm girl myself, I love this about her. It’s one of the things that made her stand out in the online group we are in together.) She’s also obtained certification as a Spiritual Director and is working on Coaching Certification.
This is how she describes her recent journey; “In the past year I have discovered my passion in the field of coaching which is really what I have been doing all my life and didn’t know it. I feel a true calling to help Leaders and Solopreneurs discover how to be effective and efficient so they create intentional space in their lives to enjoy and do what matters most to them.”
Our interview covers a range of topics focused on Teresa’s career and family journey. She shares the good and the challenging as she listened to God’s voice, doing her best to stay in the space where God was calling her for the current life season.

I enjoyed this interview. Teresa has great energy and is just a fun person to talk with. And, I have to confess, with my tendency toward disorganization, any tool that can help me stay focused is something I need to explore!
